Hi All,

   I would like to say that I too attended the Act Now classes. It seems that everyone that is complaining about Act Now has forgotten one thing that ACT NOW say at the beginning of the classes. That is "they will NOT take you by the hand and do everything for you". YOU have to take the info they provide and make it work for you. This is a networking occupation not a hand held occupation. YOU have to make the connection, YOU have to shake the bushes for the jobs, YOU have to make the submissions, YOU have to continuously take classes and attend work shops to improve you skills. IF YOU only go to the ACT NOW class and then set back and wait for them to make you a Super Star then you will have a long wait, because it will NOT HAPPEN. YOU got to MAKE it HAPPEN!!!

   I was 59 years old when I started this 4 years ago. Prior to that I had no acting experence. Since that time I have done over 50 projects (20 Films, 26 Commercials, 3 Music Videos and 2 Print Jobs) and just landed a print advertizing job with AMTRAK. I have done all of this in 4 years becouse I WORKED AT IT. Over 75% of the projects that I have done were as an Independent. The other 25% were thru the 5 agency's that I am with. You have to WORK at THIS PEOPLE, if you are going to SUCCEDE, not SET on your BACKSIDE and wait for them to come to you, becouse THEY WILL NOT COME.
