Next Gen Short Film Contest Accepting Entries

Florida's Future Filmmakers is currently accepting entries from filmmakers throughout the state of Florida for their first ever Next Generation Short Film contest.
The winner of the Next Generation Short Film contest will be announced prior to the An Afternoon with Kevin Smith event taking place on September 23rd, 2006 at the Orange County Convention Center.
The grand prize package, worth over $50,000, consists of thousands of feet of film from Kodak, a full 35mm camera package from Panavision Florida, a full lighting kit from Hollywood Rentals, audio equipment and several other perks. In addition, the winner will get to meet Kevin Smith before the show, have his or her short film showcased before thousands of attendees, and their story and subsequent project chronicled by Florida Film Monthly magazine.
