48 Hour Film Project Has Begun Registration

The 48 Hour Film Project is back in the Tampa St. Pete area. The registration period has already begun.

The event will take place the July 18-July 20 weekend with the screening to follow on July 23. All films entries will be screened at Channelside Cinemas in Tampa.

If your team registers by June Monday, June 23, the fee is $135. After that point, the fee goes up to $155. As of this writing, there are currently 5 teams already registered.

If you aren't familiar with the 48HFP, it is a competition whereby teams are given a character, a prop, a line of dialogue, a genre, and 48 hours to plan, shoot, and edit a short film.

Also, the local producers of the event Coco & Kerri Bermudez will be making a presentation on Thursday, June 5th at the University of South Florida at 7pm in the Social Sciences Building.
