Phobia - The Short Made It to New York
(released 11/23/2007; archived 12/6/2007)
By Douglas Lorah

Two St Pete filmmakers recently had their short film Phobia screened at the Anthology Film Archives in New York City. The screening took place on Halloween night, so it was fitting that the entire evening was composed of horror films. Anthology is located in Greenwich Village and the screening series is called NewFilmmakers. It has been showing films in New York for over 10 years and one of its claims to fame is that it hosted the very first screening of The Blair Witch Project.

Phobia was shot in about a week at the end of July 2006. The filmmakers are Don Reynolds and Larry Dickerson and they make up RnD Entertainment. Their site hasn't been updated recently, but it is www.rndentertainment.com. The site for Phobia is http://www.phobia-theshort.com.

We just happened to be in Manhattan that night and got a pic of the marquee.
